Shuji Tasaki, Hanshi
Tasaki Hanshi was Yamaguchi’s top student and was a revered Karate-ka at the time. After Yamaguchi’s passing and the introduction of the JKF Goju Kai, he formed Seiwakai (in 1972) and continued to pursue his karate growth and knowledge, growing Seiwakai into one of the most successful Goju Ryu Schools in Japan and later internationally.
He was awarded 9th Dan in the Japan Karate Federation (JKF) Goju Kai in 2009, and passed away on 30th January 2011.

Seiichi Fujiwara Hanshi is the Chief Instructor of Seiwakai Goju Ryu. Fujiwara Hanshi was born in 1950. He began his training in Goju Ryu under Gogen Yamaguchi Sensei, and started training under Shuji Tasaki Hanshi in 1974.
Today Seiichi Fujiwara Hanshi holds the ranks of 8th Dan Seiwakai Goju Ryu and 8th Dan Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai.
He serves as a senior member of the Overseas Committee for the JKF Gojukai and is President of the Gojuryu Karatedo Seiwakai Association, one of the largest Gojuryu Karatedo Associations in the world. He serves as a JKF Goju Kai Overseas Director and is also a Director and Coach of Akita Karatedo Federation Goju Kai.
Fujiwara Hanshi travels to teach mainly Europe and America. Currently his students number over 8,500 and in his home region, Omagari City he instructs 150 students at the 7 branches. He also instructs High School students at the Omagari Tachidake Gymnasium (Budokan).
He also gives overseas guidance to Hong Kong, Europe, the United States & Australia.
